The November 2021 New York City election had an unprecedented turnover in positions including the mayor and 40 elected officials. The days leading up to the election were an opportunity to urge New Yorkers to explore critical issues and voice their opinions. Visualize NYC was a data-driven platform to raise awareness on what is at stake and to crowdsource visions for a better New York.

The exhibition was curated into 4 themes: Evolving Public Realm, Climate Change & Resilience, Right to Housing, and Public Health.

Each theme has a data visualization by CDDL and relevant MIT student data visualizations.
